This course uses a simple approach to systematically develop your ability to understand and manage emotions and build stronger relationships. It introduces the necessary concepts and skills that make up emotional intelligence and provides simple actionable strategies to develop these skills and apply them in your everyday life.
During the course, you will become more aware of your own emotions through observation and self-reflection exercises. You’ll also create your own personalised action plan to deal with your emotions and respond appropriately to the emotions of others. Additionally, you gain important insights into how to deal with common dysfunctional emotions such as anger and stress. While learning how to build and maintain strong relationships by developing your empathy and active listening skills.

Surabhi Bhuskute who is a University Teacher, Corporate Trainer, and Facilitator with a PhD in Human Resource Management and a decade of experience in teaching, training & HR consulting.

It is a self-paced, beginner’s level course that includes short videos and tasks that help you to apply the knowledge gained personally. The micro-course is made up of 5 modules:

  • Module 1: Introduction
  • Module 2: Understanding your own emotions
  • Module 3: Managing your emotions
  • Module 4: Understanding the emotions of others
  • Module 5: Managing Relationships

Work your way through all the course material in the order that it is displayed on the page.

To pass this course, you will need to complete all the course activities and get at least 75% of them correct. You will also need to give us some feedback at the end of the course.

Once all those parts are completed and we have received your feedback, we will check all everything is completed and prepare your certificate. Please be patient, as it might take us about a week to email your certificate to you.
