How to teach soft skills

Soft skills are interpersonal skills like emotional skills, team-working or problem-solving skills. These skills are essential for children both now and later in their life. Therefore they should be taught at school.

This course is about soft skills. You will learn what soft skills are as well as why and how you can teach them to your students.

What you’ll learn?

After completing the course, you’ll know how to recognize soft skills. Additionally, this micro course gives you very practical ideas of how to teach soft skills to students at various class levels.

Who is your instructor?

Kati Keski-Mäenpää has a doctoral degree in education, with a focus on pedagogy and teacher training.

How to pass?

To pass this course, you will need to complete all the course activities. You will also need to give us some feedback at the end of the course. Each section includes additional reading material and exercises in which you are supposed to plan your own short teaching sessions.

Once all those parts are completed and we have received your feedback, we will check everything is completed and prepare your certificate. Please be patient, as it might take us about a week to email your certificate to you.
